BEING ETHICAL – THE SUPPORTING MANTRA IN BUSINESS TRANSFORMATION OF MSAF
Consistent with MSAF Values and operating principles, an employee is expected to play his or her role in the company in a responsible manner following all aspects of professional, ethical, legal and social behaviour. All dealings internal and external needs to be carried out ethically following the MSAF values of Integrity, Entrepreneurship, Humility and Empathy resulting in a Customer Centric Sustainable organization.
Work Ethics
It is how an employee conducts himself or herself and carries out assigned work in the work place based on defined specific values on what is right, guided by moral principles in an honest and transparent manner keeping the organizational goal in sight. It is the moral compass that steers one’s action, decision and interaction in a work place. Cultivating and upholding strong work ethics fosters a positive work environment leading to sustainable success, resulting in professional growth for the employee personally and long-term achievements for the organization. To promote these needs, the Company has a framework in the form of a Code of Conduct.
Reporting Misconduct
Role of an employee is not only restricted to being ethical and following the code of conduct but also to report any unethical act/s by other employees or stakeholders, including any malpractices, wrong doings, irregularities that affects the financials or the brand image of the company. In a wider perspective any code of conduct violation can be reported. The Whistle Blower policy of the company provides a platform to disclose such information confidentially without any fear of victimization or retaliation for appropriate action by the company.
